Snowmageddon 2017

At the beginning of the year, our family made the move from a rental house into our brand new, custom built home. As you walk through the front door, you're looking past the living room, out through the wall of windows. The only thing you can see is a forrest of trees. It literally feels like you're in a tree house, it's amazing.

About two weeks ago, we got somewhat of a snow storm. I cannot describe, as usual, how cool it looked with all of the trees covered in snow. So, I'll just show you.

Our backyard was legit Narnia. And a bowl of frosted mini wheats.

School was canceled all week and my work was shut down for a few of those days. Shout out to my dad for getting me to work one of the nights, because there was no way my car would have been able to make it up our extremely steep and icy driveway. (I mentioned you this time, Dad)(He was a little bitter with the last entry because I didn't mention him).

Finally, a week later, it melted. As fast as it came, it went. Our creek was incredibly swollen. It was more of a river than a creek. I was close to being swept away and carried off through the rapids. The river naming society called us up and let us know that they were going to be officially naming it and placing it on the map. After all is said and done, I may just pick up white water rafting.
